Jiu Jitsu is a great martial art that has so many benefits and is exciting to learn! It can also be intimidating to beginners, which is why we developed our Fundamentals program. Our Fundamentals classes are geared towards beginners in jiu jitsu that are typically in the first 1 – 3 years of their journey. In these classes, we go over basic moves, concepts and strategies to build a strong foundation in understanding jiu jitsu. It takes time to develop these skills and with the right practices and guidance, you’ll find yourself evolving to more complex moves.

What To Expect
Our classes are 1 hour long and begin with students lining up according to rank. Our instructors will begin the class with warmups and drills, then lead to the instruction for the day. This is when they will teach a specific move, position or concept and allow the students to practice it with their partner or in groups. The instructors will go around and help students or answer any questions.
Afterwards, the students will have time for live sparring, where they get to practice the moves they learned in a live training with their teammates.
